The Old Testament must be interepreted in the light of Christ, and all of its promises are fulfilled in him. If anyone eats of this Bread, he will live forever. And indeed the bread which I will give is My flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
Joh 6:52 Then the Jews argued with one another, saying, How can this One give us his flesh to eat?
Joh 6:53 Then Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Except you eat the flesh of the Son of Man, and drink His blood, you do not have life in yourselves.
Joh 6:54 The one partaking of My flesh and drinking of My blood has everlasting life, and I will raise him up at the last day.
Joh 6:55 For My flesh is truly food, and My blood is truly drink.
Joh 6:56 The one partaking of My flesh and drinking of My blood abides in Me, and I in him.
Joh 6:57 Even as the living Father sent Me, and I live through the Father; also the one partaking Me, even that one will live through Me.

Re: Must Read “The Harbinger” by Rabbi Jonathan Cahn [video]

Sure,it may be splitting hairs. I thought the book was astounding. Even if he's 100% wrong about G.W., everything else lines up. It's Cahn who made the error, not the Bible . plus, I realized that G.W. was a deist since it was the Age of Enlightenment and US was to be the first Masonic Republic. So I don't think G.W. was asking the God of Abraham for a blessing. But be that as it may. We weren't a blessed nation because of the Masonic founders, but DESPITE our Masonic founders. Our Puritan brothers prayed and asked for blessing 100 years before GW.
Thanks for reading and commenting!

Re: Must Read “The Harbinger” by Rabbi Jonathan Cahn [video]

I saw Mr. Cahn on the 700 club last week and bought the book later that day. The connections between the birth of America, its recent financial downfall, 911 and ancient Israel are simply astounding-- I encourage everyone to get a copy. But-- there are a few things I'd like to clarify. G. Washington was not inagurated at the chapel at ground zero, that took place at Federal Hall down the street-- the book says as much. What it says is that GW "consecrated" the US to God at the chapel. I searched high and low-- even sent the author a note-- without finding any other source that uses that term. I'm not saying it didn't happen-- but other descritions of the day simply say that the new president and company attended services-- celebrated etc. at ST. Pauls AFTER the inauguration ceremony. Also-- with any inspection of the neighborhood-- like google earth for instance, its clear that the chapel is at least adjacent to ground zero-- whether it was actually part of ground zero is hard to verify. There are a number of maps available that show the St. Pauls Chapel area in the 1770's before the land fill that formed ground zero was even there-- maybe this is just splitting hairs, but to be 100% you would have to ask the question if the church owned the beach property across the road. It also goes unstated about the origins of the sycamore tree that was toppled on 911. To best fit the Israeli analogy, it should have been planted sometime in the inauguration era-- but the book doesn't say. Also-- there are quite a few trees around the chapel, the book doesn't mention if there was anything unique about the one that was hit.

Re: Escape to Israel?

It is obvious that the enemies of Israel are preparing for a nuke
attack, but Bible prophecies say their weapons will be turned against
them. Obadiah 15; Deut 32:35

Psalm 7:12-16 -> The enemy prepares his weapons and makes ready to attack. It is against
himself that his deadly shafts tipped with fire, will recoil upon. The
godless are in partnership with the devil, plotting mischief and
conceiving lies. Why wouldn't be though?
First, the measurement of the temple is bigger that the ancient temple even the onle built by Herod. The Expositor's Bible Commentary has this to say on the matter:
"These chapters have been interpreted as referring to Solomon's temple, the temple of Zerubabbel (either real or proposed), Herod's temple, or a future temple in the Millennium or in the eternal state. Some, having difficulty understanding the passage when taken literally, interpret the section allegorically as teaching about the church and its earthly blessings and glories, while others understand the passage to symbolize the reality of the heavenly temple where Christ ministers today.
to read a somewhat defense of the future interpretation of this long section of Ezekiel read this article: http://bible.ucg.org/bible-...

Good article though to interact with...

Re: Tongues and Me

Thank you for caring enug to send those links.
